Look cute , fit my pregnancy belly at 25 weeks. Not sure they’ll make it to the 3rd trimester, but I’m happy I got them. I’ll have them ready for postpartum if they don’t work after a while.

These shorts are truly the BEST! They've been so helpful in my post partum journey; whereas other bottoms have been too restrictive, the smocked waistband has been my life saver, giving me comfort and style. I love these so much I bought it twice. And I have bought 2 of the pants version as well. Emme, please never stop making these. I'll wear them even if I ever go back to my pre-pregnancy weight.

Mostly great so far I ordered these shorts and also the smocked pant in another color from Emme. I’m currently 36 weeks pregnant due at the end of August so was looking for a temperature friendly and comfortable pant or short that would transition well to postpartum. I must confess I tried to order a cheaper pair of linen pants with a thick waistline before I ordered these- and got burned. So hard to find good linen with this same wide smocked waistband. I got the pant and these shorts in the same size. The pants fit great, are soft, stretchy, breathable and cute. They aren’t too tight on my very large belly but they also fit well under the belly so I think they will be great postpartum. The shorts are mostly good, but the material is a bit thicker, scratchier, and less flexible. The smocked waistband (in the same size as the pant) is less stretchy, more scratchy, and actually squeezes baby a bit when I sit down. I think I will have to save the shorts until postpartum, but I’m sure they will be great for that period. Considering buying another pair of the pants!

OMG I love these! You guys. I am surprised to say these are my favorite thing I ordered from Emme! I love the dress I got, I loooove the smocked olive pants, but these are going to be *so* comfortable going into a humid hot southern summer with a growing belly. They fit just fit and the linen I think will just get softer and softer after each wash. I know longer shorts are necessarily the most in style but I cannot with the 2" inseams of women's shorts these days! I am so super thankful to have found something comfortable and well made, and with a tucked in tee and a growing belly I know I will feel extra cute in these! I'm 5'8" and 120 normally, a bit more going into second trimester, and the SMALL feels like it is the right fit for sure. Plenty of room to gain a bit of weight and for a second and third trimester belly, and the smocking makes them fit even when I'm not really showing. I am so excited that I will get to wear these after birth too! A really high quality piece of clothing that will last so long!
