I got these as the mystery box item and know why now….no one would want to wear these. It looks like your wearing a flour sack hastily put together just to have something to wear. Draw string is too narrow(cuts into you a bit when pulled all the way) to comfortably wear the funny looking waistband under your shirt. These pants were a mistake.

I really disliked these and had to return. The waistband was so large, and as I’m earlier in my pregnancy, the pants required a lot of cinching, which is fine EXCEPT the drawstring is only on one side and ended up pulling the entire pants awkwardly to one side. I could have never worn these pants post-partum because of it.
