About

(Sounds like "hem" — just drop the 'h'.)

Emme was born in 2019, out of equal parts frustration and love.

Founders Hailey and Katarina — both moms — kept asking the same question: why is maternity wear so often ugly, made of polyester, and built to be tossed after a few months? They wanted something better, for themselves and for every mom-to-be who deserves to feel good in what she's wearing.

The brand is named after Kat's third daughter, Emmaline, who was still kicking in the womb when the idea took shape. From the beginning, the promise was simple: maternity clothes that are actually cute, made of natural materials, and actually made to last.

Today, Emme is run by a small, passionate team in Brooklyn who live and breathe that mission. We're customer-obsessed. Every fabric is chosen with care. Every silhouette is tried, tested, and tweaked on real pregnant bodies until it feels just right. We listen, we iterate, and we design pieces that move, grow, and breathe with you.

We believe comfort and style should never be a tradeoff — and that pregnancy is a chapter worth celebrating, not just covering up. Our goal is to help every mom-to-be feel comfortable, confident, and undeniably herself, every step of the way.

If you're expecting, supporting someone who is, or you just believe moms deserve better — welcome. Let's make comfy, cute, and conscious the new normal.
