Two kinds of pieces live here, and they run on different clocks. Some are already folded on a shelf and leave the same day you order. Others are cut and sewn for you after you order, then sent straight from the factory that made them. Here is exactly how long each one takes.

Which one am I buying?

Every product page says so before you add to bag. Made-to-order pieces are labelled Made to order and carry a ship-by date; ready-to-ship pieces show their size availability instead. If a bag holds both, each one travels on its own clock and arrives when it is ready — you are not charged twice for shipping, and you are not left waiting on the slower piece to see the faster one.

One to one and a half weeks to make. Your size is cut, sewn, checked and packed.

Ten to twelve days to reach you. It leaves the moment the garment is finished and comes to you directly, tracked door to door.

About twenty days in total. That is the typical case rather than a ceiling, and the date on your order carries a buffer on top of it.

Where your made-to-order piece comes from

We work with factories all over the world, and some of our strongest relationships are with factories in China. We know that is polarising for some people, so we would rather tell you plainly than leave you to find it on a shipping label.

We go and see for ourselves, twice a year. Not a showroom visit — walking the floor, watching how the work is actually done, and looking at the conditions of the people who make your clothes. We check workmanship and we check ethical standards, and we keep returning to the same partners because a relationship you tend to over years tells you more than any one-off audit.

We stand behind our product and behind our partners. If what arrives is not what you hoped for, send it back and we will give you a full refund.

Duties and tariffs

We pay them. All of them. Whatever import duty or tariff applies to your order is already inside the price you see at checkout. There is no second bill waiting at the door, nothing to settle with a courier before they will hand your parcel over, and no arithmetic for you to do before you decide whether to buy.

That holds wherever your order is going, and it holds for made-to-order pieces coming to you straight from the factory. The cost of getting a garment across a border is ours to carry, not a surprise to pass on to you.

Tracking

For a ready-to-ship piece, your tracking number arrives the day it leaves us. For a made-to-order piece, it arrives the moment your parcel is handed to the carrier — before that there is nothing to track, because the garment is still being made, which is why we send a note the day your fabric is cut rather than leaving you watching an empty page.
