Every Sewn piece is cut after you order it, so shipping here works differently from a warehouse brand. You get a real date, not a range.

Where your order ships from

Directly from the factory in China that cut and sewed it. There is no warehouse in between, no transfer to a domestic hub, and nothing sitting in storage — the piece is packed where it was made and goes straight to you.

Your ship-by date

At checkout and in your confirmation email you'll see a specific date — Cut for you, ships by 14 October. Not “three to five weeks”. A date we've committed to.

It is built from the actual steps, with a buffer we add on top and publish rather than keep for ourselves.

Delivery options

Once your piece is dispatched, how long it takes depends on the service you chose and where you are.

Tracking

Your tracking number is emailed the moment the factory hands your parcel to the carrier. Before that point there is nothing to track, because the piece is still being made — which is why we send a note the day your fabric is cut rather than leaving you watching an empty tracking page.

Duties and customs

Sewn ships from China, which means every order is its own international import rather than part of a bulk shipment. That is the one place made-to-order can produce an unpleasant surprise, so we would rather be direct about it than let a customer discover a bill at the door.

If we're late

If we can't meet the date we gave you, we'll email you before it passes with a new date and the option to cancel for a full refund — no questions, no restocking fee. That isn't generosity. It's what the rule requires of us, and it's the right way round.

Need it sooner

Ready to Ship is a small capsule of pieces that are already cut and finished. Those skip the production window entirely and go out in about two days.
